Regular public worship is an important part of the work of a parish church; details of information about this is on our Regular Services page. There are other services and these are outlined in other pages in this section – see the menu in the sidebar on the right of these pages.
Christian Festivals
Many of these are special Christian celebrations or festivals such as:
- Ash Wednesday and Lent
- Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter
- Harvest
- Remembrance Sunday
- Christmas with carol service and crib & christingle services.
These are usually announced in the list of forthcoming events on the home page and the Calendar.
Family Occasions
Special services are held to mark important family events, particularly baptisms, weddings and funerals. Occasionally families like to mark other occasions with special services such as renewal of wedding vows and memorial services. We give information about these in this section. The Vicar will be pleased to give more information about these.
